Pack your bags! You are about to embark on a journey learning about how to use Canvas as a student at The College of the Florida Keys (CFK). Each module is branded as an Instructure office around the globe. Instructure is the company that created Canvas. Please start your journey by clicking on the Modules tab and reading the information under the "Introduction | Passport to Canvas" module. We recommend you go through all the materials in order for the first time in order to learn about all the Canvas features you might need to use in your classes.

This course, Passport to Canvas, provides everything you need to know about using Canvas in your class(es). Canvas helps you:

Keep track of the work you are assigned by your instructor, grades and feedback
Organize all of the learning material your instructor has created
Help you stay in touch with other members of your class

Moving Through the Course

This self-paced course is organized into Modules. The introductory module presents mostly information that is specific to CFK. All the other modules focus on one Canvas tool. Happy travels!
